Antwerp Headquarters went to the World Expo in Shanghai in June 2010 and made itself known in the business community in Shanghai. The mission was organised by VOKA - Chamber of Commerce & Industry Antwerpen-Waasland and was led by Mr Bernard van Milders, chairman, VOKA – Chamber of Commerce & Industry Antwerpen-Waasland & vice-chairman of the board of Antwerp Headquarters, and Mr. Robert Voorhamme, alderman for education, economy, work and small and medium-sized business, City of Antwerp & chairman of the board of Antwerp Headquarters, together with 81 company leaders. The mission severed the economic, cultural and educative relations with Shanghai.
