 On 24 June 2010 a delegation of the Russian Guild of Property Managers and Developers came to visit to Antwerp. Antwerp Headquarters received the Russian guild and introduced them to the city.
‘The synergy of old image and new development’ was the central theme of this visit. Ludo Van Campenhout, Vice Mayor responsible for city development, sport and diamonds, provided detailed information about the city planning of Antwerp. The Russian delegates also got the opportunity to visit local projects that mark the significant shift from old to new such as Den Bell, some new projects at the Docklands, the Central Station and the Shopping Center also known as “Stadsfeestzaal”. The warm reception of the delegation in the city hall given by Vice Mayor Robert Voorhamme was definitely the highlight of the day. Robert Voorhamme, Vice Mayor responsible for education, economy, employment and self-employment, is also the chairman of Antwerp Headquarters.
