Tue 12 Oct 2010 Port of Antwerp wins prestigious Lloyd's List award
The Port of Antwerp was declared Port Operator of the Year at last week's Lloyd's List Global Awards in London. The award recognises the port's continued operational and commercial success, despite the current economic downturn. Port of Antwerp Commercial Director, Luc Arnouts accepted the award on behalf of the port authority at London's luxurious Dorchester Hotel. The Port of Antwerp was chosen above three other nominations including APM terminals (with a terminal in Zeebrugge), Krishnapatnam Port Company from India and the British-based PD Ports.
