Out of 400 cities in the world, European cities are found to be the most attractive and safest to live in according to expats. Antwerp finds itself on top of the list of most favourite expat cities after Copenhagen and Bern.
Every year ECA International asks expats about the quality of life of 400 cities world-wide. This inquiry takes into account the infrastructure, climate, chances to integrate, access to health care, public services, leisure facilities, social life, housing, political tensions and safety.
Antwerp easily outranked other big cities like Amsterdam (11th place), Berlin (15th), Zürich (18th) or Paris (20th place).
